How to prepare your move to Hope Aged Care?
To prepare for your move to Hope Aged Care, we’ll start with the resident agreement, which covers all the important details. Having your documents ready will help make the process smooth. How do you accommodate the specific dietary needs?
In conjunction with the medical requirements the dietary needs are determined and these are then reviewed by our qualified dietitian.
Is there a registered nurse on-site 24/7?

What happens in case of an emergency or medical crisis?
Our homes are staffed 24 hours by registered trained nurses. In an emergency or medical crisis, the medical condition is assessed and a decision is then made as to the appropriate care. The resident is stabilised and if emergency hospital care is required the appropriate emergency services are contacted and the resident transferred to the most appropriate emergency facility.
Can residents continue to see their own doctors?
Have the Sunshine facilities recently been upgraded?
Yes, we completed the Sunshine renovations in August 2024. The upgrades include the lobby and reception area, 14 resident rooms, courtyards and garden areas, as well as the management rooms.
